i'm still recuperating at home due to the little surgery of mine.. let me tell u how it went.. lol
it was a bright wonderful wednesday, 20th sept.. my appointment was at 9 and surgery was supposed to be at 0930.. However due to unforseen circumstances, (e.g can't wake up, cab uncle taking his own sweet time, etc) i reached the dental hospital at 0915.. but it was alright as there were pple still having surgery so i can't go in..
skip the waiting time coz i dun wanna bore u guys.. zoom into the part where i'm gonna enter the surgery rm.. the nice nurse made me swallow some liquid from my nostrils (eeww..) and it tasted a bit like aloe vera.. that's what i told the nurse anyways... she seemed quite amused.. -_-''' anyway.. after that, i was sitting at this bench near the surgery rm when suddenly, a girl who was having surgery was crying damn loudly.. like hello? i'm going next leh.. i was like shit! is it that pain?! the best part was that my mum n nana left to go shopping.. -_-''' so i was all alone.. T_T
then finally i was brought into the surgery rm.. never seen so many equipments in my life.. madness.. and there were 2 nurses to help me get "prepared".. well.. for one thing, they scared me further instead of getting me prepared.. and the doc was like poking a needle into the back of my left hand and it was damn pain.. haha. it was like ER right in front of my eyes.. then the oxygen mask came onto my face and they kept asking me to breathe in deeply.. i wanted to say.. hello? if u wan me to breathe deeply, definitely i take a longer time to breathe out right.. stupid.. wells, before i knew it.. i was knocked out..
i didn't even know i knocked out until i heard e nurse calling my name.. suddenly i was in a different bed and my mouth was filled with cotton wool.. and my legs were shaking like mad.. i tried to talk but it came out slush slush slush.. but amazingly, the nurse understood what i was saying.. haha.. then i was wheeled back into my ward..
i knocked out again when they were wheeling me back.. felt so weak.. when i woke up, i felt something dripping down my face.. then i realised that it was blood... i forgot that i was in surgery so i panic and thank goodness a nurse was nearby so she helped me clear my blood and change the cotton wools in my mouth..
skip the waiting process and zoom into now..
now, i still have stitches in my mouth and it still bleeds occasionally.. tmw, i'm gonna visit the hospital again to see if i can remove my stitches..
